This series Kansankirkko (Church of People) is about the main religion in Finland, which is Lutheran Christianity. The society is getting more secular and also other religions or different forms are appealing to people. During past years the Lutheran Christian Church has tried to renovate itself to stay connected with Finnish people and their lives now a days.

I went to two masses that are different from the usual Lutheran masses. The Medieval Mass was popular with older people. They sang medieval songs. Metal Mass had resemblances to metal music concerts. The songs were made into metal musi versions, with elcetrical guitars and drums in the church. Sometimes it was hard to say wether it was a gothic rock concert or  mass. The atmophere was very concetrated and holy still.
